Stream Restoration of Cobbs Creek at Marshall Road
The stream restoration of Cobbs Creek at Marshall Road served as a pilot project for habitat restoration, stream bank stabilization, natural channel design, water quality improvement, and infrastructure protection. The project mitigated the impacts of urban runoff and non-point source pollution as well as restored native vegetation to the riparian corridor to enhance bank stability. Because of these improvements, the likelihood of further stream erosion and exposure of sanitary sewage infrastructure has been reduced.
