posted in

The Water Department is making waves! Earlier this week we mentioned Erik Haniman working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and today we’d like to feature, Maggie Wood, an Environmental Planner with the Public Affairs department. This week Maggie presented the Philadelphia’s Water Department’s new residential stormwater management program, Rain Check, at the 2013 International Low Impact Development Symposium at the University of Minnesota. The symposium featured 290 presentations and over 1,000 attendees, the largest LID Symposium to date. The conference offers a unique opportunity for stormwater experts of all backgrounds to gather and discuss stormwater issues and projects from around the world.
